Coherence: Parallels 10 and Windows 10

I installed Windows 10 as "Other Windows" with Parallels 10 and I can NOT get the new Coherence to work.
I don't know if Parallel's 10's Coherence features work with "Other Windows". I just installed everything and I'm new to this so I don't know if I just have to install Windows 10 as if it were Windows 8 for Parallel's Coherence feature to work. If so, how do I change it?

Please try (re)installing Parallels Tools as suggested at: http://kb.parallels.com/115835 .

I'm having the same issue, that article did not help. The actions menu does not contain an option for installing the parallels tool.
Perhaps a different question could be, what operating system should be selected when installing Windows 10?

you must download a special shell for win 10 other wise it will not work.
follow these instructions and i will work.


Win 10 is working great for me. can't ever go back to win 8 lol
