Is there any way to make the Windows "close" button (the X, top right corner) on a given app actually macOS-"hide" the window rather than closing it?

When you're used to the X button closing a window and not an app (ala macOS) it's a total pain the Windows way (and annoying that Outlook for Windows completely closes each time).

    Thanks!

  2. HI, you mean use "close" button as a "minimize" button, right?

    More like "hide".

On the Mac the X button closes the window but not the app. Of course, on Windows the X closes the app. But with a Windows app in Parallels Coherence you could really make the experience more Mac like if there was a way to override normal Windows behaviour for something in the Mac repertoire--hide.

It wouldn't be perfect but it could be a viable option maybe?
