Is there any way to prevent the Command button from opening up the start menu? I jump between desktops a lot and every time I stop on the Paralles desktop the start menu comes up. Every time!! I can add an option so the Control button opens the start menu, but nowhere is there an option to prevent the Command. Any help would be much appreciated!

You can disable the cmd key to be mapped to the win key under the keyboard preferences.

Well I have disabled it and I still get the Start Menu popping up. I have also tried deleting the mapping but still to no effect. Very frustrating.
