Communicator 2005 not working - Parallels 6

I use Parallels for running Windows XP at work in order to use Outlook and Communicator. Since upgrading to the most recent Parallels 6 release (11822), the Communicator 2005 application is unable to connect over the network. It worked just fine until yesterday, and Outlook has not problems.
Our tech support is doing all the normal stuff, but having no luck in fixing the logon problem with Communicator, so I am concerned that the only change I made was installing the new version of Parallels.
Anyone else, or any suggestions?

I'm using 6, Win as a guest.

IP Communicator is working for me ok. But, I had to reconfigure my network to make it work (while still on 5). I had to change my network to Bridged. This meant that I have to use my vpn on my guest as well as the host.
