Convert from PrlSF to FAT32?

I am using Parallels Desktop 17 for Mac to run Windows 10 in a virtual machine on my 2009 Mac Pro (macOS Mojave). I am using Seattle Avionics ChartDataManager 6.6.0.2 to download chart data for my Flight Management System. The ChartDataManager only downloads to a USB formatted in FAT32, however, the USB drive using Parallels is formatted in PrlSF.

Can anything be done to change the USB drive format from PrlSF to FAT32? I attempted to do this in Mac's Disk Utility. While it shows that it was successfully changed in Disk Utility, it doesn't look that way in Windows File.
 
I had the same problem. Parallels wants to share the USB with both MacOS and Windows, but that puts the virtual PrlSF format on the drive.
Here's how I got it to work:

- Open your Windows virtual machine. Exit full screen if it's in full screen mode.
- Click on the little USB icon in the upper right of the of the window. (Alternatively, click the Paralles icon upper right of Mac desktop, -> Devices -> USB -> Configure)
-> Configure -> USB Connection Preferences
- In the "Permanent Assignments" window click the + button until you see your USB stick.
- Highlight that entry and click the edit button (pencil) bottom right of the window.
- Use the dropdown box to select Windows 11 in the Connect To column.
For me once I did that, CharDataManager instantly saw the USB drive and I was able to update the database.
