Hello All,
I was trying to increase my VM size of my W XP VM. I was online with support and they figured out I could not increase the size from 32 GB because the C drive is in Fat32. (It was a bootcamp a long time ago I guess.)
They said to add another XP install and then join the two.
But I have searched around and seems there are a few ways to convert the Fat32 C drive to NTFS. One using convert.exe and some others with partition tools.
Seems pretty simple? Has anyone done it?
I have copied my XP VM to an external drive as a backup. And have snapshots. Plus I will run a Time Machine too.
I am running Sierra 10.12.3 on a Macbook Pro with Parallels 12.
Questions:
1.) Is copying a VM as good/safe to an external drive as safe as a Time Machine back up? Just copy it back if the above fails?
2.) Anyone done this?
3.) Advice?
Thanks!
Dave
