Copy & Paste not working between machines

I have OSX el capitan 10.11.2 using parallels 11.1.2 to run windows 10. I have had "share mac clipboard" checked the entire time while trying the following:
  1. Isolating Windows from Mac
  2. Not isolating Windows from Mac
  3. Allowing the time to sync from either OS.
  4. Shutting down the virtual machine after changing settings.
Still, my clipboard appears to not to be shared between operating systems and I have no clue what is going on. Could someone provide some assistance?
 
I don't believe this is the correct solution as it appears to pertain to Windows. When I look under c:/program files/* there does not appear any "parallels" folder in the windows virtual machine. Do you have a different solution pertinent to my situation?
