After upgrading from 11828 to 11990, Parallels could not install Parallels Tools on my XP guest: first there were some XP warnings that some .exes crashed immediately after the windows desktop appeared, then the first installation try of parallels tools failed immediately, and on each subsequent try, the parallels sound driver would not install due to some "bad data". Eventually I had to give up on 11990 and downgrade to 11828 again. Somehow this feels like a beta again. I had hoped we had left the betas behind us, since all previous versions of Parallels 5 and 6 worked nicely for me, but this is now the second problem I encountered with 11990. Overall I am still happy with Parallels, but I'd like to urge the Parallels team to step up their quality assurance policies again. Greetings, Robert F. Tobler
