    Hi everybody.

I have a question: is it possible to use parallels back it starting from an image of my windows pc (created with the backup of windows)?

Using bootcamp you need only to follow the instructions, and you can totally have your PC (files, desktop, mails, passwords, etc) on you MAC.
Following Parallels instructions, arrived to the moment of the installtion of the image from the HD, the system requires to format the partition where you whant to install it. Of course the system give error and you cannot proceed. How can i do?

    Thx

Yes. Use a Windows Repair Disk (Windows prompts you to create one every time you do a Full System Backup) as the install disk when you create the new Virtual Machine. You'll have to tell Parallels a few more details about the operating system. Once the repair disk begins, you can use the option: "Restore your computer using a system image that you created earlier.".

    Rick.

Will Parallels on Mac with a windows 10 install allow the emulated windows to restore a windows backup system image to be restored to the virtual windows?
Having great difficulty with restoring a window backup image to windows in a boot camp windows 10 partition. If this can be done using parallels I'm in.
