Data Sybchronization TAKES FOREVER

Hi, did you restart it? Have you start Parallels Desktop before your Mac freezing?

Not sure what you mean. This happened several times. Come back to my MAC and Parallels is creating/deleting snapshot. MAC is completely unusable, internet, apps etc. Then when its done, there is a message that "data is synchronizing". MAC is so SLOW. This process takes 30-45 mins. I have restarted sometimes after but not every time....

I wish I could schedule this on weekend. But man it takes FOREVER...

Please try below steps & keep us posted on your progress:
1. Start Parallels Desktop (Do not start Windows Virtual Machine).
2. Open Virtual Machine's configuration -> Security -> Disable or uncheck SmartGuard.

Ok - I did but it was under backup, not Security. So am I not getting back ups now?
