    Hi,
How is one supposed to map the dead keys for umlauts from macOS to a Windows VM on a US international keyboard? E.g. (Option + u) to (Shift + ")?
    Thanks.

    Hello,
To customize/add keyboard shortcuts, kindly follow below steps:

    1. Click the Parallels icon in the Mac menu bar and choose Preferences (or click on Parallels Desktop > Preferences).
    2. Select Shortcuts.
    3. Choose your Windows VM from the list.
    4. When you're using a Windows application, pressing a key combination in the From column triggers the key combination in the To column.
If the lock icon is locked, click it and enter an administrator password.
    Do one of the following:
    * To edit an existing key combination, double-click the key combination, or select it and click the Edit button. Click modifier keys to select or deselect them. If you wish, change the character in the text field.
Kindly refer to this post blog for more info: https://www.parallels.com/blogs/keyboard-shortcuts-in-parallels-desktop/

    Thanks

    Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I am aware of the KB articles and I do know how to create shortcuts. I just does not work with dead keys. Please try it yourself... I found a way to map them inside the Windows VM using Microsoft PowerToys. Please let me know if there is a way that, e.g. <Option + u> a can be used to type an 'รค'...
    Best regards
