After upgrading to parallels-15 everything works except
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/2s8rwrwrio7xnx9/parallels-15-mouse-lag.mov?dl=0

    system is
    agn-sabayon~ # uname -a
    Linux agn-sabayon 5.1.0-sabayon #1 SMP Mon Jul 8 17:45:04 UTC 2019 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-8950HK CPU @ 2.90GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

it worked fine with parallels-14. any hint how to resolve this?

PD15 use virtual usb mouse as input device for all Linux guests by default. PD14 use virtual ps/2 mouse.
If you use custom kernel inside guest OS and has enabled some additional usb/hid (or other) logging it could lead in usb mouse events processing.

    ps:
Also you can try to disable usb mouse by adding devices.usb.mouse=0 into VM Configuration->Hardware->Boot Order->Advanced Settings->Boot flags.
But this could lead in cursor disappearance problems on login (greeter) screen.

thanks a lot, device.usb.mouse=0 does actually resolve the issue for me.

    further observations:
    * with usb mouse disabled, i can still see the pointer in gdm / greeter just fine
    * with usb mouse enabled, the delay / lag does not occur within gdm / greeter (eg. mouse over response time is perfectly fine)

How many cpu/core do you have in your virtual machine?
