Deploying Parallels 12, Windows VM using Apple Remote Desktop ARD Fails

Can someone confirm for me that the latest autodeploy,pkg is working as expected? I have a brand new Windows 7 pvm in the correct place inside the pkg, but it doesn't get copied when deploying the pkg to MacBook Pros with Sierra via ARD. Parallels gets installed, but the pvm file doesn't end up in /Users/Shared/Parallels

Support has escalated this saying there is a bug in the autodeploy pkg, but was surprised that no one else had mentioned it on here
 
I have specified in the depoloy.cfg that the virtual machine within the pkg deployment should be copied to the /Users/Shared/Parallels folder - it does not
