When I create desktop shortcuts on Windows 7, I automatically get .lnk files on my Mac desktop. They aren't of any value there except clutter. Is there a way to turn the feature off, or is it safe to simply delete them from the Mac desktop ?

    Thanks

The stuff you create on your Windows desktop is being saved to the Mac desktop.

Turn off the Shared Profile option in Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Options.

You may want to manually move the stuff that was created on your Mac desktop back to the Windows desktop.
