Desktop Shortcuts

I am running parallels 5.0 on Mac OSX -

When I create a windows shortcut on the Windows Desktop a corresponding icon appears on my Mac Desktop. How can I configure parallels so that does not occur

Configure -> Options -> Shared Profile -> deselect Enable Shared Profile

I always use all the Desktop Shortcuts. So that I can do all the works within short time.
