Different User Accounts on OS X, same XP in Parallels?

Hi all,

I use a BootCamp Partition under Parallels with XP Pro. Under OS X I have different User Accounts, that all are allowed to use the XP VM. Now, everytime a different User under OS X is launching Parallels, XP asks for a re-activation. Anything I can do against it? Or is this the old M$ Activation hell? IMHO this should work.

Kind regards,
Thomas

Yes, I did. Unfotunately I was forced to do an activation by phone because XP was activated twice and the third time it blocked the attempt. Now it runs again within my OS X Account, but I'm afraid to test it with a different user because of the lame phone activation - and I really don't know how often I am able to do this activation by phone.

Regards,
Thomas

You can do it as often as you need to. Just tell them it is on the same machine.

OK. Thank you. Please answer my additional questions:
1. What Parallels Desktop build do you use?
2. How have you shared your VM: created in one account and then moved VM folder to /Users/Shared and made some changes in permissions or something else?
3. Has this problem occured in previous builds?
4. Do you have this problem with Vista Boot Camp?
