I am trying to update DirectX using the directxwebinstaller application, but the internet seems to do nothing. Its working fine on my mac, but not on the Windows and nothing happens. Im running Windows 8.0. Also, I am not sure if Parallels Tools is correctly installed. I reinstalled it several time, reinstalled Windows, Parallels Desktop 10 itself, but nothing works. I am not sure what is quite happening.

Please try to switch the Network type from Shared Network to Bridged Network (Go to menu bar at the top > Devices->Network1->Bridged->Default Adapter). This should help you get the issue fixed.
