How can I disable Fn key for virtual machine? I would like to keep OS settings unchanged; meaning I don't want to use function keys as standard F1, F2 etc keys; would like to keep using them as mac special functions. But for virtual machine side, I want to use F1 as F1 etc. I don't want to reach Fn key each time.

Not on Mac side. I want to disable on virtual machine side only. Please read my post again.
On a laptop, in OS X Keyboard preferences, please turn on "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys". That way, you need to hold Fn to use the hardware functions. Please check this blog
