Disable HyperThreading?

I have some software which when installing, tells me it requires me to disable hyperthreding. It wants me to boot into the bios and disable hyperthreading their. I have checked the parallels configuration for my VM and see nothing about hyperthreading. Is their any way to do this?

There's no Hyperthreading to disable, ignore the message and install the sotfware like it was already disabled.

Or does the software refuse to install 'thinking' Hyperthreading is enabled?
