Disappearing Windows

I am using parallels desktop on my Mac with Windows 7. I use two displays. Sometimes when I open Windows 7 and then a program such as Quickbooks, the program appears to be open but outside of the viewable area of my screen. If I minimize (three finger swipe so I can see all open windows) the active window will then show my program but when I go back to full size it is not on the screen but "hiding off to one side. I have sometimes been able to get back to normal by rebooting windows or restarting parallels but today I am unable to get the program on the screen.

Hello CMB,
  1. Reinstall Parallels Tools using the instructions from http://kb.parallels.com/4841
  2. Once Parallels Tools are reinstalled, right click on Windows Desktop -> choose Screen Resolution-> click Identify button, then make sure the recommended resolution is chosen.
