For some of my less frequently used virtual machines, I would like to have at least the virtual disk drive on a NAS. In my case, the NAS is a Synology 1815+. Right now I mount a share from the NAS via SMB / CIFS. On this share, I create the virtual machine with the drive inside. Is there a better / faster way? For example, the NAS would support creating an iSCSI target, but I could find no way to attach this to a Parallels virtual machine as a disk drive.
Hello Tinue-, Parallels do not support the Virtual Machines located in NAS, we recommend to save the.PVM file in an external storage or on the local HDD.
