Hello,

Who of you has already tested the 2XClient times behind a proxy server? For me it only works if I specify the IP-Address of the 2XApplicationServer. I use the FQDN, it does not work. It does not matter if I use SOCKS4, SOCKS5 or HTTP 1.1 in the proxy configuration. So it looks like that the DNS resolution is not passed to the proxy.

Overview of configuration

Can you try resolving the FQDN using nslookup from command prompt on the same client?

That will not work because nslookup is not the question be directed to the proxy. Take, for example, is indicated when a browser uses a proxy server. If he wants to resolve the FQDN he addresses the question directly to the proxy server. The local DNS configuration here is irrelevant. If I to the Internet using a proxy server I do not need the local DNS server in the network configuration, and even then I must not specify a DNS server.

By the way, does the browser on the affected client without any problems with the proxy server and DNS I do not use.

Regards
Jochen
