    Hi
I recently brought a new Macbook pro and doing a bit of Pocking about I found parallels and it was unclear if I could just migrat applications and no files .I was also wondering if I would need a second window licence if I want to keep using my windows PC. Any clarification on the matter would be most appreciated

    Hi Toby,
As per the query you have, we have options to either migrate only the virtual machine or the virtual machine with applications.
Please follow the knowledge based article provided below to know how to migrate your Windows PC to your new Macbook pro.
    http://kb.parallels.com/en/115007
It is also mandatory that you will need another Windows license key as it will detect your Virtual machine as a new computer.
You can contact Microsoft to know more about there licensing policies.
