Document Created On Desktop By Windows App

I am running Parallels Desktop on a MacBook Pro and running one windows application (Calyx Point). When I start Windows/Calyx it creates a "Document" on my desktop with the following name "Point.appref-ms". If I delete it then it simply comes back when I restart the application.

Is this normal (windows apps creating docs on my mac desktop) and is there a way to prevent this from happening?

It doesn't do this to me and I run Calyx. You may want to reinstall Calyx. However, I do get to see files archived on Windows Desktop on the MAC as well.
