Does Parallels 3.0 support Vista 64?

I just got one of the new Macbook Pros with the fancy Intel Core 2 Duo processor. When I go to install Vista using the 64 bit disk, it complains:

Attempting to load a 64-bit application, however his CPU is not compatible with 64-bit mode.

I have especially bought Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac and Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit after checking the following web sites. I need to use an application on Windows for my work.

This page mentions extra that the entire Windows family is supported.

32-bit OS are not required in the system requirements for the guest OS under this page.

I now even think that they intentionally did not mention it in the web site, since VMware supports some 64-bit Vista.

Maybe that is why the support team has not answered my question yet, although it promised to reply in 3 days (it's been over a week).

I just hope there will soon be an update supporting Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.
 
Buggy

I've lost faith in Parallels. The software is now very buggy and I am always having problems with it.

It used to be a good product.

Maybe VMWare is better... gotta give it a try.
