Does using Parallels do anything to the original OS?

Hi there,

I'm considering using Parallels to put my Windows 7 PC on my MacBook Air as a virtual machine. My question is, if I do this, does Parallels do anything to the Windows 7 PC itself or does it just create an imagine on the Mac? i.e. If I create the Virtual machine, can I continue to use the actual Windows 7 PC as if nothing ever happened to it, as well as running the Windows 7 virtual machine on my Mac?

Hi

Windows on your PC will not be destroyed during migration with Parallels Transporter.
Simultaneous usage of both copies depends on windows license.
