Im utilizing parallels desktop on my macbook (lion os) and I need to get xampp/localhost to chip away at the variant of XP I have introduced so I am ready to test my sites in Internet explorer.

Obviously I don't want to have to install two different versions of xampp on my parallels desktop as that would mean copying sql databases and so forth.

    Thanks,

To launch XAMPP, you need to run xampp-control.exe from your USB drive. This will bring up the XAMPP Control Center which looks like this: You need to start Apache web server and MySQL by clicking on the start button next to them.
