DOS on parallel problem

Guys,
I'm trying to get DOS as one of my parallels. I've got 6.22 as an image file. It loads up ok when I try and install it as a parallel but it says that I need to sort out the disk space before it can install. Every time it crashes when I try and do this. Is there any way to format the virtual drive space allocated to this image before I install DOS?

What was the issue? I would like to make a nice DOS image myself.... lots of neat things ya can do with DOS. Thanks.

When dos install loads up you need to come out, by pressing f3, do a manual format, restart and then install.
I'm now just trying to get dos the same full screen resolution as XP and Mac OS X. Makes everything about 640x480, even when i've set the custom resolution to 1280x800. Any ideas?
