Drag and drop and C&P still don't function as advertised.

I am running 15 on Catalina, with High Sierra on Guest VM. Neither function works as advertised. It seems that Mac on Mac support is still very weak.
 
So far nothing but problems with Parallels 15 on catalina. Shut down a VM now it reboots as a black screen. No amount of cycling it brings it back. Why?
Has this not gotten any better over the past 5 years?
 
tools was not installing even though it said that it was installed. Started over and that seems to work now. Interesting new challenge is my adobe apps are not seeming to validate on a VM. I went this route because I didn't want to buy new apps or go to a cloud based solution. So I am hoping I can figure out what to do to get them working.

Let us know the issue you are facing with Adobe apps.
