Drupal Localhost: Mac Snow Leopard > Win 7 IE8

ATE Design

Bit poster
I want to display and access my websites to perform IE cross compatability testing on Windows for IE 6-8.

I have tried countless solutions including Bonjour, changing config settings within my Local Web Server, the relevant files on the Win 7 Machine and still can't get it to work.

Is there a simple tool (as you would imagine there to be) of transferring a URL from one machine to the other and have the request pass through Parralels Network Adapter.

This is getting highly frustrating now.

Any help would be welcome. A simple software solution (such as what Bonjour supposedly offers) would be ideal.

Help!

Update.

Well the 2008 use of Bonjour doesn't seem to work.

Reinstalling Parallels Tools helped.

I can now access the basic localhost site (drupal Aquia install) on my Mac's Ip:8080

However it won't then accept what the Windows networked URL of say examplesite.localhost:8080

I am told that Windows treats Localhost files in a particular way. If anyone has any ideas as how to solve this?
