    Hi

I need to create a collection within SCMC based on a machines AD group membership, but am running into issues because all of our Macs have duplicate entries in the database.
There is the PMM entry which has the site code, reports as active and has a resource ID which is shorter than normal SSCM ID's (such as 67110459).
Each machine also has another entry which reports as having no client, has been found via an SMS_AD_SYSTEM_DISCOVERY_AGENT and has a 'normal lenght' resource ID (such as 2097161730).

This issue is that the PMM resource doesn't have any AD Group membership information and therefore the collection never has any members.

Can you let me know if this is a known issue with PMM and if there is a resolution in place for this?

    Thanks

    Hi Matt,
This is a known issue, will be fixed as part of 4.5 release.

    Thanks Yury.
Does that also introduce the server upgrade feature so we aren;t going to have to uninstall and reinstall any more?

It doesn't :( It will introduce support for automatic Mac Client upgrades. This should compensate for the time spent uninstalling PMM Windows components :)

Hmmm, our last upgrade didn't exactly go smoothly, but I'll reserve judgement until I see how this one goes :)
