Duplicated shared folders

Hi,
After I updated my host Mac from Mojave to Monterey, I had to relink the aliases to shared folder in the client Mac Sierra.
Now, I get the Shared Folders item, in the top level list of drives, always duplicated. I can eject one of them, but then it reappears at the next boot.
What can be causing this issue?

Maybe I understand what was happening. Relinking the existing aliases to the shared folders in the client was not the right action. I had to delete the aliases, then access the shared folders directly again. This resulted in now only a single Shared Folders element showing in the client.
