Edge of application windows getting cut off

One user (winxp sp2, rdp 6.1) always has an edge of the window cut off. About the width of the vert scrollbar. Does anyone know what this is about? They don't have any other video issues and reglar RD is normal.
 
this sounds like a video card driver issue or msrdp component.

Ensure the user has the latest correct drivers for his video card and rdp 6/6.1 installed

Please check the "control version" from the help menu on the client.
Also specify the resolution and colour depth being used.
