My device is Macbook Pro 13 2018(with Catalina) and my egpu is a Vega56. I've followed the instructions here
As it says in the instruction, I enable the option 'Prefer External GPU' and then restart the Parallels Desktop. However, when I run some benchmarks or play games, the performance is rather poor. And as I can see in my iStat monitor, the egpu is not working at all. So I wanna know where the problem is.

Hi, please upgrade to the latest build 15.1.0 and check the issue.
Please provide us with any results.

Hello, I have same problem here. Running Parallels 15.1.1 and performance si so poor. When I switch to build-in graphic card, it runs lower fps but it feels better. Some games crash with epgu (Asphalt 9). I have Macbook pro 2019 (the lowest model).

Is there an update on this? I am about to buy an eGPU set up with the expectation it will boost my workstation performance. Coming across this post has now given me cause for concern. I am running 15.1.2. Do Parallels support the use of eGPU's as suggested here or not?
