My VM was working beautifully until I decided to check the box USB 3.0 support (To try with an external HDD). Now syncing my Windows Phone is taking waaaaay to long, and Zune keeps saying the phone is getting disconnected.

I've tried with multiple USB cables, and I disabled the USB 3.0 but the performance is still poor on all USB devices I have tried.

Really want to get the USB performance back to what it was. Is there anything I can do? Uninstall and re-install parallels tools help at all or not worth trying?

    Hi Daniel,

    Try restarting your vm,
    then go to Virtual Machines
Configure to make sure that the USB 3.0 is not checked
    to reinstall parallels tools
go back to Virtual Machines (you don't need to uninstall them)
    select Reinstall Parallels Tools
after the reinstall of tools you will need to restart your VM
