Due to security requirements with PCI-DSS and the spread of ransomware and key loggers, it would be ideal if the Parallels can do a client health check and based on the policies configured on the Gateway, either allow or reject devices that don't pass the health check. The health check requirement would check for the presence of local firewall and antivirus to ensure they are enabled and updated. This can be done by the Parallels client that get's installed on the PC and report the results during the connection to the gateway for validation. This would also help support any BYOD computers or devices otherwise there is no way to validate they are "clean" because connecting. Policies could be created to allow exception for certain devices such as tablets, etc...
It might but it would introduce a level of complexity. For sure we will research what would be the best approach to implement such feature.
