I'm sitting here sputtering. I'm on a SUPER slow and metered data link right now, on battery, with Energy Saver enabled with "Pause Updates" checked... Then what happened? Parallels Toolbox installs an update! I had even rebooted my PC while my PC was unplugged, so it couldn't have been a process that began while it was plugged in.

Please make sure that 'Pause Updates' includes updates from Parallels!

    Hello,

I think KateG is talking about 'Pause updates' option inside Energy Saver tool preferences.
And yes, it is good idea to stop updating Parallels Toolbox itself in this case.

Thanks for reporting this issue, I hope it will be fixed in on of nearest updates.
