erratic mouse movement on multiple monitors

    I am trying to use a USB-DVI adaptor for a second monitor in Win XP SP3, on P9 and OSX 10.9.1.
    Win xp under P9 sets up and displays the second monitor fine, But my Mouse (apple magic mouse) movement is out of whack on the primary monitor in win. on the secondary monitor it is fine. it works but its like its out of calibration on the primary monitor. Any ideas?
