Error Accessing Hard Disc 0

I have an error pane popping up that says "An error occurred while accessing the Hard Disc 0 used by Windows 10". it then gives an "Error ID of PRL_ERR_DISK_READ_FAILED (80021029), errno 35 (resources temporarily unavailable".

Windows 10 will not load and the whole computer slows down almost to a freeze.
I have re-installed both Parallels and Windows once and, for a few days, everything worked fine. then I get the error window again. Can anyone offer a solution?

Thank you for your prompt response. There is no indication of i/o error in either Console or Terminal.
I have set the flag in the Boot Order of the Parallels Control Center to devices.hdd.error=1
And tried running Windows 10 again. I get a small black pop-up pane similar to a Terminal pane that states

"No boot device available, press Enter to continue".

Pressing Continue simply gets a black screen that beachballs continuously and seems to be locked so that it isn't possible to shutdown the virtual machine without shutting down the computer and restarting.

As far as I can tell, all other apps work fine and running First Aid in Disc Utility says that the hard drive is OK.
 
Five times now parallels support has logged in and "fixed" my problem. No more than 30 minutes aft4er they are done, this same
A critical error has occurred while reading/writing to Hard Disk 0 used by "Windows 10" the last tech confirmed via disc scans on both mac and windows that the hard drive is intact. He uninstalled and re-installed parallels. To be fair, I have no issues for 3 years, but now i am dead in the water and am unable to use windows on my mac to run my day trading software which is costing me big time. They seem totally inept to solve the problem and each time they say " you will have no more issues Mr. Kevin.
