Help!!!
I called MS and asked them if MS Office 2007 Small Business would install on Windows Vista Basic... they told me yes. Well... since then I bought my iMac 27" and installed Parallels 5 on it... all the normal installation went fine. When ever I have run a device like a USB or CD with Parallels open, it has asked me if I want to run it on the mac or pc side.
HOWEVER... when I try to install Office 2007 it doesn't ask me, so I try and run the setup.exe file on the disk... and I get an error message that reads:
"Setup cannot find the required setup controller file. Either there was a network error, an error reading from the CD, DVD, or other installation media, or a problem with the package you downloaded."
Well... there is nothing wrong with the software because I previously had it installed on my DELL and uninstalled it before I went to install it on the Mac.
Anyone have a CLUE as to what is up before I make a call to Microsoft?
Thanks,
Toni
