I had a similar issue when I tried to run Fortnite on my M1 MacBook using Parallels. After doing some digging, I found out that Fortnite's anti-cheat system, BattlEye, doesn't play nice with virtual machines. It's super frustrating, I know. You might want to consider setting up a dual boot system with Windows using Boot Camp, which should work better with Fortnite. It's a bit of a hassle to set up, but it's worth it to get your game running smoothly.

By the way, I got some awesome Fortnite accounts and skins from https://flipd.gg/Forum-Fortnite-Accounts-for-Sale a while back. It's unrelated to the issue you're having, but I thought I'd share since we're both Fortnite fans.
