ESC key sends "a" on Windows 7 VM

Hi,
I've been using Parallels Desktop with a Windows 7 VM and haven't had any keyboard issues in the past. However, since I upgraded to Parallels Desktop v11, when I hit the "ESC" key on the keyboard, the letter "a" is sent to the VM.

I've reinstalled Parallels Tools, tried changing the keyboard layout in Windows Control Panel, and checked the keyboard settings in Parallels to make sure there was nothing obvious I was missing...can anyone recommend how to troubleshoot/correct this?

Just an update - the TAB key is also not working (also sending an "a") -- and this is happening in Parallels Wizard also (when trying to install a new VM) but ESC and TAB work fine in all other OS X apps...
 
Hello north,
Please try this work around - Go to Actions > Configure > Hardware > Keyboard and Mouse and change keyboard settings to Don't optimize for games, if you already have that option selected please change it to other available options and check if it works.
