Extra OSX 'Space' created when running in full screen mode

I am finding an extra, empty OSX Space created when running Parallels 11 (Windows 10) in full screen mode which I am unable to get rid of. I can navigate to the space which appears as an empty grey window with a slight gradient and a lighter bar across the bottom of the screen. It doesn't have a name when viewing the list of spaces, however identifies as Windows 10 (Display #1) when the title bar is exposed. Attempting to close this window manually causes Parallels to crash.

Any ideas?!
