Fallout 3 works on Bootcamp, but not with Parallels 8

Hello,

I have a bootcamp installation of windows 7 (64bit) where Fallout 3 (from Steam) works without problems.
If I boot the same installation on Parallels Desktop 8, Fallout 3 crashes when I try to load or start a new game.

Any ideas, why Fallout 3 won't work inside of Parallels?

Host: Mac OS 10.8.2, Parallels Desktop 8.0.18354
2,8 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB
 
I assigned 4 CPUs, 4GB RAM, 1GB Video-RAM.
Setting it to 2 CPUs doesn't solve the problem. I also tried to change from DX9 to DX10 without success.

I know these hints from the Steam forum to run Fallout 3 without crashes and used them to solve random crashes on native bootcamp windows (But it was running anyway). But on Parallels it always crashes on new game or load before the "ingame graphics" appear.
I don't use different configurations as it is the same windows installation.
