Faststone Capture Tool

Hi everyone, I would like to know if anyone can assist me to get Faststone Capture to work via Parallels on my Mac? I bought the app and it has certain unique features which I have come to like and would like to keep using it. I recently moved from Windows to MacOS and it has been a pleasure. Most of my other apps work through Parallels. The app runs minimised in system tray but is always ready to be used with the allocated keyboard shortcuts. When I maximise the app, it shows on my dock but when I use the keyboard shortcuts, it take me to my Win 10 VM and want to capture the screen there.

Any guidance would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. Please excuse me if I am not explaining it correctly, as this is my first time using Parallels. The app is installed on my Win 10 VM as it is a Windows only app. I am running the VM in Coherence mode. If I exit Coherence mode, I can use the keyboard shortcuts for the app and I can take screenshots on the VM. Even in Coherence mode, I can use the shortcuts for the app and take a screenshot when I open IE that I am running as well but if the VM and IE are minimised, the shortcuts is not working.

I would like to be able to use the app and its shortcuts to take screenshots on the Mac as well. If I open the app's settings' the app icon appears in my dock with the Parallels icon but when I use the shortcuts, it opens IE and wants to take a screenshot of IE.

I might have configured a setting incorrectly when installing Parallels. I basically ran it with the defaults.
