Feature Request: Set Parallels as Default Web browser for opening links

This is something i think would be fairly easy to implement but would be great.

As i primarily use parallels for outlook and internet explorer it would be great if Parallels could work as the default internet browser. Parallels could then pass any web links to the default OS X browser.

Would anyone else find this as useful as I would?

Sorry no. Also it dioesnt make sense to me to make Parralles a default browser...what exactly do you mean. Click a link, it opens parrallels, opens your virtual machine, opens Internet Exploder and then passes the link back to OS X ???? Makes no sense. If you like safari, use it, if you want to use XP then use Internet Exploder, or better Firefox.
 
You both may be surprised. If you are running the current RC2 build 3150 version, then open an OS X Finder in your home directory, open the Library folder, then the Parallels folder, then a WinXP folder, and in there, finally, the applications folder. With Parallels turn stone cold off, clicking on one of these icons will light off Parallels, and the selected application. These can be dragged to the OS X dock.

Dropping a URL object onto Windows IE won't launch the tool but it certainly appears that is where it's heading. Maybe it's already there and I've just not played with it enough.
 
Its actually not what i had in mind, what i meant was in the windows virtual machine itself when i'm using outlook i want the links of outlooks to open in the mac default browser. Otherwise i end up with a web browser inside the virtual machine with links im reading and the majority of links outside the virtual machine in my mac browser.

Its in the opposite direction you are talking about, but yeah dkp that might be really useful for opening links in IE! Thanks for that :)
