Fed up of bugs and crashes

Hi,

Here is my story :

Recently I could not use Boot camp anymore because of the infamous hal.dll problem. I then tried to repair this file, but that didn't help. I finally decided to entirely repair windows xp (as proposed here : http://kb.parallels.com/entry/63/526/), which is a painfully long process.
Thanks to this I got rid of the hal.dll problem, but windows asked me to activate again (I think Microsoft starts to know me well... ). I thought "well, let's do this later !" and rebooted in Mac OS X. I then tried to start paralells, which refused completely to start. I get some kind of blue screen, but it is too fast to be readable. Booting in safe mode doesn't change anything.
Therefore, let's boot again in Boot camp !
eurk, my mouse and my keyboard don't work anymore......

To summary, I am now unable to boot into Windows XP. Thanks Parallels.
You can't imagine how fed up I am.
I wasted 80$ and an enormous amount of time since I bought Parallels. I have the feeling that each time I update something (Parallels, Mac OsX or Win xp), I have to spend hours to make everything work again.

Anyway, if someone has any advice on what I should do now to have a working version of XP, I would enjoy it. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

please try to do the following:
Open Configuration Editor, browse to the Advanced and click on the Clear button to fix broken Boot Camp virtual machine
1. Open your Boot Camp virtual machine.
2. Open Configuration Editor
3. In the Resource list, click Hard Disk.
4. In the hard disk settings pane, click the Advanced tab.
5. In the Cleanup Boot Camp Partition area, click the Clear button.
