File sharing: OS X and Win 7

I'm in Apple Mail and want to attach a file that resides in my Win7 My Documents folder. On the OS X side, I can't see any of my Win7 folders when trying to attach a file. I also tried copy and paste but apparently the clipboard isn't shared either.

How do I do this?

I'm using Mountain Lion and Parallels 8.

I am brand new to Parallels & OSX myself (set-up an installed a week ago), but I believe this is your answer.

Part 1 will allow you to browse while the VM is running. Part 2 will allow you to browse without running the VM.
