When I switch to Layout Mode in Filemaker 7 for Windows, and then click anywhere in the window, the entire window goes black and I can't see where to drag the new fields I'm trying to add. Similar problem in Browse Mode, except I can type inside fields entering data okay, but clicking in the window outside of an already-defined field causes the window to go black as long as I hold the mouse button. Any ideas or workarounds? Running Snow Leopard and Windows Vista.
