Files saved for Mac desktop are saved in Windows

I run Windows 10 on Mac thru Parallels 14. Lately (after some update?), whenever I save sth on mac desktop, it is only saved on windows desktop. That is a recent issue. How can I have saved items in Mac, becoming saved only in mac? Thanks.
